It’s a resort-style housing community specifically designed with Iowa State University students in mind. The Quarters at Ames features spacious, multi-level townhomes and flats with in-unit laundry, plus a full set of community features such as a fitness center, pool and hot tub, tanning beds and more. We are conveniently located next door to the ISU campus.

Rent is paid online through your Resident Portal. You may set up re-occurring payments or make a one time payment with an e-check, credit, or debit card. Additionally, residents may set up automatic withdrawals from a checking or savings account through the Resident portal. Please speak to your site manager if you have any questions.

Rent is due on the 1st of each month and is considered late if not received by close of business on the 3rd. If the rent is not paid by the 3rd a late fee will be added to your account.

Pets may be allowed here at The Quarters upon approval. If approved, two dogs/cats are allowed per apartment. Pets must be registered before they may reside in the apartment. The owner must pay a non-refundable pet fee of $350 per pet. There is a monthly pet rent of $25 per pet. Please inquire with the office if you would like to bring your furry friend with you.

If there is an emergency maintenance issue such as a fire, water leak, or other safety related matter, please call our office right away at 515.441.7700. If the issue is not an emergency, you may submit a maintenance request through the Resident Portal.

If you have a safety related emergency requiring immediate assistance, call 911. For all other after-hours emergencies, please contact us at 515.441.7700 option 9. When prompted, please leave your name, telephone number, unit number, and a detailed description of the emergency and our on-call team member will return your call in a timely manner.

Our staff maintains constant communication with each resident by use of email, social media and
the announcement section of this website. Additionally, text messaging and phone calls may be utilized to relay urgent messages. Please monitor your email on file and our company’s social media outlets forthe most up-to-date information.

Tenants are responsible for paying the utilities as indicated on the lease agreement. As part of our commitment to first class service, The Quarters has partnered with SimpleBills (www.simplebills.com) to provide individual invoicing for just your portion of the total utility bills each month. Account set up and payment is handled directly with SimpleBills. Detailed information about how to set up your account with SimpleBills will be provided prior to your scheduled lease start date.

Safety is our No. 1 priority! We hire professionally trained and licensed security officers to provide after- hour assistance to residents. Our security staff works hand-in-hand with local law enforcement to ensure maximum safety and enforce community rules.

Upon move-in, each resident was provided a copy of the Resident Handbook, outlining the rules and expectations for living in one of our units. Our staff maintains constant communication with each resident by use of email, Resident Portal, and social media. Additionally, phone calls and/or text messages may be utilized to relay urgent messages. Please monitor your email that we have on file, Resident Portal, and our social media pages for the most up-to-date information.
